The Children of Female Prisoners’ Care Association (CFPA) was founded in 1990 after a large press campaign on the pages of the Egyptian newspaper “Al-Akhbar” – one of the largest Egyptian newspapers – led by the journalist writer Mrs. Nawal Mostafa, who visited by chance Al-Qanater Women’s Prison on a regular press mission. Releasing Female Debtors
Paying the debts of the fines, releasing them from prison, and protecting them from reaching final judgments that lead them beyond the walls to protect their children from homelessness and their families from disintegration.
Health Support
Conducting medical operations for poor women and children, health assistance inside & outside Qanater prisons and Damanhour, and providing medicines to the needy. Medical convoys for the detection of cancers & chronic diseases.
Change a Child’s Life
Our children are a great treasure; Contribute to the “Child Creativity Center” program, developing their skills, adopting their talents, providing psychological support, behavior modification programs, in-kind aid and financial support.
Babies in Prisons
Children of Female Prisoners’ Care Association providing in-kind assistance, which includes (dairy – pampers – personal hygiene supplies – clothes – medicines), and the implementation of health convoys.
Small Project for Poor Women
Establishing an income-generating project for poor women and former prisoners, by training and financing various small projects according to the skills they have and the needs of the residential area.
Educational Support for Children
Providing Study Supplies (books – bags – stationery), buying external books, paying school reinforcement groups, combating school dropouts and eradicating children’s illiteracy.
