Talent Scouting Program

“Playing, Music and Singing” is an artistic program from “Children of Female Prisoners” to discover their talents.

The Association for the Children of Female Prisoners started the musical artistic activity for its children on Thursday, October 21st, under the supervision of the artist Ahmed Issa, who presented a musical program to teach children to sing. Journalist Nawal Mustafa, founder and president of the association, participated in the first artistic music workshop, which was held at the Fatim Cultural Center. The children began to learn the songs “Fiha Hajeeh Sweet” and “SpongeBob

The artist, Ahmed Issa, said that he tried to get close to the children’s taste in music, and made them share with him the selection of the two songs with which the music program began, as they are two songs, one patriotic and the other for children.  Indeed, the children interacted strongly with the two songs and competed in intonation.

He added that working with children has a pure taste, because their reactions, brilliance and enthusiasm for singing and music are completely different from adults, and the children of the association are distinguished and have some real talents that need development and discovery.

Nawal Mustafa confirmed that the association is keen to bring about real changes in the life of the child, who is the mainstay of the future, among these interventions, the first of which is art.  Because it makes the child free from the constraints that he lives in his home, school or society.

She pointed out that children are like fertile soil, with which values and principles can be instilled easily instead of ugliness and distortion, and made it clear that the association has in mind the push of these children towards integrating into society again through music and fine arts.

The children were overwhelmed with great happiness as they participated in singing as a single choir, in the song “Fiha Haja Sweet” by Reham Abdel Hakim and the words of Amir Taima and composed by Omar Khairat.  In order to create an atmosphere of competition for them, the artist Ahmed Issa divided the children into two teams to compete in singing.
