Samar Ahmed, Director of the Integrated Support Unit, conducted training for fourth-year students at the Faculty of Social Service, Helwan University, at the association’s headquarters.
The training focused on research skills, case studies, and training on the role of social workers in the civil society field. Samar Ahmed began by shedding light on the association’s work since 1990, starting with its work with children, then with orphan girls and female prisoners in 2007, emphasizing the diverse activities offered through its various projects.
It is worth noting that the (CFPA) Association, registered under No. 3730 for the year 1990, advocates for the children living inside prisons, in mothers’ cells, and pregnant prisoners since 1990. It implements multiple developmental projects serving marginalized and impoverished groups, including (CFPA) Association, impoverished female prisoners, and former female prisoners. The (CFPA) Association relies on mechanisms for economic empowerment, psychological, social rehabilitation, and influencing public policies.
The Children of female prisoners’ care association (CFPA) was founded in 1990 after a large press campaign on the pages of the Egyptian newspaper “Al-Akhbar” (one of the largest Egyptian newspapers).
