BBC publishes an investigation on “children of female prisoners” and Nawal Mustafa's journey with them.

The news network has published an investigation into the Children of Female Prisoners’ Care Association (CFPA) and its role in assisting this impoverished and marginalized group, conducted by Mr. Walid Badran, after a meeting with the founder and the chairwoman of the association, Mrs. Nawal Mostafa.

Mrs. Nawal Mostafa said that; “the international media’s interest in the issue of the association and its role is a proof of the importance of the great role of the association in adopting and developing solutions to it”.

She adds, “Since the awareness of the issue of the children of female prisoners living in cells amongst offenders, and then the issue of women prisoners of poverty called “female debtors”, many international media outlets have expressed interest in uncovering aspects that may be hidden from the world because there aren’t similar cases worldwide.
